The Western Continent comprises the 5 western nations, the 2 enchanted lands, and the hidden archipelago that lies between the two continents.  Originally home to the Ancients and Giants, the modern sentient races of the 5 nations originated as settlers from the East.  Through interbreeding and magical interference from the Ancients who were revered as Gods to these mortals, five new and distinct species were formed.  They spread out across the continent from the wind-swept steppes of Teridi Koholo to the sun-scorched deserts of Ter'ays, adapted and thrived.

Developing for several thousand years in isolation of the Eastern Continent enabled these cultures to develop unique Racial Abilities, cultures, religions and social structures.  Below, the crests identify aspects of culture, religion, history or aesthetic to give you a window into the enchanting Western Continent, a land of extremes.
