The northern steppes of the Western Continent and the coastal tundra comprise the expanses of the harsh and arid lands of Teridi Koholo. Their plateaus and grasslands experience a lush season of flora and fauna in the spring and summertime, but most of their game and wildlife are migratory, leaving the countryside desolate and bleak come the autumn frosts and winter storms.

 

The Koholeans are the most militant of Ul-Zaorith races, though they maintain their mandatory military service as a point of education, dicipline and artform. They are the biggest and strongest of the sentient races, which has earned them the moniker "Giants". Their matriarchal society is ruled by an Empress who wins the right to rule in a Gladiator tournament. Indeed, the women are bigger and stronger and tougher than their male counterparts, which has led to a sort of mother-worship. They possess a unique Racial Ability which gives them distinct advantages in warfare, including the ability to disrupt the terrain, forego pain, and enter a nearly berserker fury.
