Speritan is the most populous nation in Ul-Zaorith and has long been the military leader. It has, at one point or another tried to conquer every nation in the world, and has at times occupied Lisdan, conquered Tirivahn and laid claim to the entire Western Continent. Swampy, wet, tangled and marshy nearly everywhere they have not built dense and sturdy cities, Speritan is a land that has defined itself through achievement and the spoils of success.

Its massively strong people are also extremely jingoistic and zealous, leading to their missionary efforts for their pantheon. Despite their at-times aggressive foreign politics, they are very welcoming to foreigners, and have developed an entire caste system to legally manage immigrants. In sports and the fine arts they are a world leader, inventing the popular game of Valan, the tradition of theatric opera and many forms of jousting and duelling. They are a people with expansive dreams and the means to achieve them despite possessing no Racial Ability.
